The history of winemaking in Portugal dates back over 2,000 years. So, here's a little corner of My Portuguese Market dedicated to showcasing this stupendous bounty of fermented grape juice.

Mainova Verdelho 

 

We continue exploring our love for everything-Mainova.

This 100% Verdelho is a super weighty organic white. It doesn't see any oak, but rather spend a year chilling on its lees so gets a ton of texture that way.

It's a bit honeyed, a bit briny, a bit citrusy, and so so so much what we love about Portuguese wine.

And, honestly, for Thanksgiving, we are always looking for lighter wines to pair with our gazillion dishes.
